I have been part of this site for a few months and just in the last month purchased my 01 fltrsei2 road glide.  No complaints at all just a few questions i hope you can help with.

1.  Other than the efi what other changes are there between 01 fltrsei2 and 02 stock road glides and how much better is the 02 thatn the 01?  I read somewhere that there are big suspension changes.  

2.  I want to lower my bike 1 inch but harleys lowering kits are for 02-05 only.  Can i lower my 01?  If so how?

3.  I also want to lower my stock fron fender down about an inch.  Does anyone sell a lit to do so with out cutting up and repainting the fender.  Will  the brackets to attach a fatboy fender work with this, part #59013-02.

From what I know the difference between the 01SEI2 and 02 rg is the RG has the one inch rear axle and the front and rear suspension upgrades. The O1 is 95" with the MM injection. The 02 is 88" and has the Delphi injection(which is probably the biggest deal) Other than that I dont know... about the lowering kit, I know you can buy an after market kit. (white brothers). The fender deal you are on your own...

The White Bros Lowering kit is the most cost effective way to lower the rear!
