While the approximate total CVO production for 2012 of 10,400 units seems like a lot, and is likely more units than Victory cranks out across its entire lineup, in light of the more than 222,000 bikes H-D sold worldwide last year, CVO total production is a drop in the Harley bucket.

Wow . . . 10,400 CVOs for 2012 . . . around 10K seems like the round production big number that HD has settled into for CVOs.

With the great sales this last year (had to be somewhat joyously unexpected, I wonder if that number will jump back up to 12,500 for 2013 as in 2007 before the economy totally collapsed.  Whatever the case, I don't miss the long lines and 6 months wait for a scoot you really wanted back in 2002-2004.  It sure was nice for resale, though.

Followed up.  My request still has an open que, but is incomplete.  Waiting patiently.  The response will provide all missing CVO production numbers through MY2010.  Well worth the short delay to have a complete history, IMHO.

Not yet.  Suzie is supposed to be sending me a Word document with all the numbers through 2010.  Last I checked, the que was still open on my request.  I'll call again this afternoon.

Yes it will be.  But not until next year after they've stopped production of the MY '12 bikes.
