I see some people selling the CVO ignition Gold keys on Ebay and such. I bought my CVO used, so no Gold Key and no CVO bike cover, etc... Are these keys blank and can be cut to work on my CVO? Or, are they cut to that guys CVO and would be nothing more than a novelty to anyone else?

Harley sells new ones at the dealers, and you have to bring in proof of ownership and what-not, but if i can get a new clean one for less I will.

Mine fits my bags and fork lock on my 2015 CVO STREET GLIDE. On the back of the cover that the key box is in it says" In all markets other than U.S./CANADA this key is intended for decoration only. Do not use for the normal operation of the vehicle".

The Gold key is a working key for the bike it came with. if you buy one on e-bay or anywhere else it will unlock and start the bike it came with.
