That design has been on the Heritage forever. I am guessing the idea was to hide the gap between the passenger pad and riders seat.  Didn't work did it?  .

They should have left it alone, and put the chrome hinges on instead!

Does anyone know if Harley is now doing the CVOs in smaller batches then before?

Seems in the past they did all of one color, then all of the next color, and so on until all the colors for a certain model were complete.  Like for the 2011 SG everyone was waiting for the Krypto one to come out.  Then all the dealers seemed to have them sitting on their showroom floors all at the same time, at least up here in the North East.

Now it would appear they are mixing the colors up for 2012 as I know the Slate/Black SG is already out, my local dealer has a Red/Maroon one scheduled for September, and someone else on here said their dealer had a Slate/Black one scheduled for October.  That leads me to believe they are mixing up the colors so not all dealers will have all the same color at the same time.

Reason I'm asking is I really want the Slate/Black SG and my local dealer only has the Red/Maroon one scheduled so far.  The sales manager says he can only see out until September for the bikes they have scheduled.  I'm trying to figure out if they could have a Black one coming even after they receive a Red one.  Or if I need to be talking to another dealer that has one already, or one already in bound.

My observation has been that they generally release all the colors together.  The kryptonite was a different situation because they had issues with the paint that weren't resolved until Feb of the following year.

I don't know...I like the chrome tour pack rear light bar.  However, I think it looks better on the darker colors.  I think I may have to replace the light bar on my Grey/Black SEURG and put the chrome one on.

Did anyone notice the difference in chrome windshield trim between HarleyGuy5's picture and DOOFUS's pictures? The chrome windshield trim in HarleyGuy5's photo is a solid chrome piece, while the windshield trim on both of DOOFUS's pictures shows the paint behind the trim.
