Thouhgt it would be nice to show some pictures of my EVO project bike. It is a 96 Road King I bought new and is under project/construction status now for several years. I've been working on this bike for over two and a half years now, mainly because of the fact that I fabricate a lot myself which takes a lot of time and I only work on the bike when I feel like it and enjoy the effort. I'm in no rush because I have two other bikes to enjoy and when the weather is good to ride......I RIDE!!!. The bike is outfitted with a custom sidecar which has been modified to my personal needs and standards. The lugage compartment has a separate lid and the seat is a modified one from a fork lift truck. It is full floating and fully adjustable seat and backrest on a specail frame with mountain-bike air suspension. The engine has a stage 4 screaming eagle modification and should deliver close to 95 HP and a lot of torque. The fenders are customized to look like vintage duo glide panhead fenders witch have the ridges on the surface. The wheels are fully stainless steel 80 spoke and 18 inch all around and the rear fender has the mounting for the cases and exhaust inside the fender witch has been widened 1 inch. The brakes and rotors are performance machine all around. The side car is easy detachable cause of the mounting system and quick connect hydraulic brake line. The paintjob is done by Willem van Vliet (
www.airbrushart.nl ) in the Netherlands and his wife did all the leatherwork on the saddle and cases. Needless to say the project is still under construction (aprox. 75% completed) and comming fall it will be resumed. I will keep you all updated with pictures as it progresses.
Hope you'll enjoy the pictures.
