Post by: Mr D on August 10, 2022, 12:19:31 AM
I’m new to the shark family  :2vrolijk_21: recently acquired a ‘22 Road Glide
where is the optimal placement for the XM antenna module & can anyone provide a pic of its placement….

Here is the spot. Metal plate holds magnetic antenna.

Thanks, when I rode a batwing, mounting the antenna externally on the inner fairing next to the vent provided a much better signal… not so much on the shark nose ?

I had just removed the antenna (switching bikes and moving XM with it). Went inside for the night and read your post. Went back to the garage snapped a picture and went to bed.
The reason why I am sharing my story is because I have never had a reception problem on the two Road Glides I have had it on. Inside has been fine for me.

No issue on my '15 RG either unless I was in a tunnel ;D
