Bike Layup
« on: May 29, 2022, 02:29:37 PM »

Have an upcoming operation that will prevent me from riding for a few months.  Currently have a battery tender but unsure of the best way to address the gas.  Some folks mentioned to top off with fresh fuel and pour some stabil, whole small bottle, and then run for about 10 minutes.  Some others said to get some ethanol free gas and top off with that in addition to the adding the stabil.  There is presently about a half tank and cannot ride it at present either.  Bike is in an unheated garage but since summer is condensation a concern since it is summer and should be riding again about October?

I would just fill it up with Super Unleaded and add some stabil in it then run or ride it should be ok.

Dump some stabil or like minded stuff in the tank. Let it run about 5 minutes and plug it in. You're good.
