Hi all. I'm having issues with my HD 30K Sena Headset connecting with my Street Glide CVO. It was working for many months, now when I listen to it while riding, I get distortion, and a voice comes on that says "Headset not connected, please try again later" or something like that. I took it to the dealer, and the tech said HD doesn't do well when you pair both an Iphone as well as the headset, so suggested I just pair the headset to the bike, and then plug in my iphone to use Car Play. Tried that on my way home, thinking that was it. Same thing happens. I even switched from FM Radio to music on my iphone, thinking it could be a tuner/reception problem. The tech told me before I left, that if this doesn't work, they may have to replace the entire radio head behind the fairing. I suggested that they try to give me a new headset, which would be less invasive. Waiting for them to let me know what they want to do next. It's under warranty, so not concerned about what they want to do, but reaching out to see if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, what you did to remedy it? Thx.

I would do a factory reset on the head set, then check to make sure the head set has the latest software.  Next on the infotainment screen delete the headset.  Wait 3 minutes and repair the head set.  I have had to repair my 30K twice now to my CVORG.  I have had to do it once with the Pan America.

Thanks for the info. I've done all that, multiple times, and the dealer said they did too. I guess I'll just let them fish for the problem. They probably WANT to dig into the fairing to replace the radio unit, more warranty $$ for them from HD!

Has the WHIM been updated?  Is it functioning?  Can you see head set connected on the infotainment screen?
