Tornadoes in Sacramento??

You guys probably saw it on the national news.  We had a couple tornadoes touch down here in my neighborhood, Natomas........just a few blocks from the house.  53 years old and the first time I've saw one (I mean two).

What did I do?  The same thing everybody else did........ran outside to see what the hell was going on.  Spared my house and my street but it sure took off a few roofs, a car, equipment and some storage unit.......all the roll up doors.  We're just not used to these so instead of hiding in the bathroom, we all run outside to watch it. LOL [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  Freaky, very freaky.   Then it rained like a monsoon, rain and large hail.  Like something out of the movies.

Acts of God can be tough upon those they effect and others around them.  What does not kill us can only make us stronger...i.e. - 9/11...

Bye the way, before I get totally hung up on waxing nostalgic over a mis-spent youth, really glad the storm stayed a few blocks away from you.  Sorry for those that got hit.  But glad you and your stuff are ok.  

They can do ugly amounts of damage.  So this is one of those nights to hold your best girl close and thank any deities you may be fond of that the storm dropped a few blocks away.
