FLHRSE3 Rider Backrest Adjustable?
« on: December 16, 2006, 11:54:38 PM »

Admittedly, I haven't looked into this much with the printed materials, but with my height (tall) the top of the backrest kinda presses into my back.  Is it adjustable?  Just having it lean back slightly would be great.  Doesn't appear to be adjustable, but again, lazily I haven't examined this except once or twice.  Thanks for any thoughts.

Remove the seat and you'll see the bracket bolted to the fender and frame. It has four positons to move it back or forward.

You can also backout the lower set screw at the back of the backrest.

sfarson,

The above replys are the answer to your question.  It is considered an "adjustable" backrest because you can change the height based on which set of holes in the mounting bracket you use, and you can change the angle using the set screw on the back of the backrest.

Later,

How about that!  Thanks for your replies.  Didn't think adjustment was an option.  Much appreciated!
