Picked it up Friday
« on: October 12, 2015, 07:42:29 AM »

Picked up my 2016 Limited Friday. Fulsac head pipes, V&H 4.5' Destroyer slip-ons & SERT. Sound is deep and like the looks of the 4.5" with the screen heat shields over the fulsac head pipe. Dyno ok at 92 hp, 107 tq.

The screen heat shields are Harley. Saw these on a bike at the Vegas dealer show. Like the looks; durability and ability to keep clean are yet to be tested.

Sorry Redrodo - I meant the windshield - we call that a screen over here.

Guys, one thing to think about on the heat shields.  I as well have the same ones on my 2015 CVO.  I loved the look of them and installed a set back in the fall of last year. Everything was great until the summer heat started kicking in this year.  I was surprised just how much heat came out of those little screens on to my leg. I can put my hand around the other areas of the  shield and it is a big difference.  My bike has a DX pipe, SERT and has been turned and as you all know these 110 motors just run hot.  Still today I will take the look of the pipes over the heat on my legs but just a little food for thought.

Very nice. I just put the V&h Destroyers on my 08 Ultra. Love the mufflers and sound, but have experienced ground clearance issues already after a couple rides.

Nice ride and those pipes are awesome.
2 questions, are you having any issues in turns with the pipes hitting the ground and do the 2016s come without the rear signal/light bar or did you remove it?

There are no turn signals on any 2016 touring bike that has a tour pac. I like the look and it's easier cleaning. No issues with the pipes, had the floor board feelers dragging with no pipe rub.

Thanks for the feedback.
They did that with the 14 limited which sucked for me because when I did the tour pack detatch I needed turn signals, i didn't want anything stuck on the bags so it cost me another $180.00 for the filler lights.
