Been looking for torque cams for my 2011 Heritage Softail Classic, stock 96 cubic inch, big sucker air cleaner, Vance & Hines Softail Duals, Power Vision tuner. 10,000 miles. Building for what I have now, not what I might do in the future. I will worry about that if the time ever comes and configuration changes.
Mostly city driving, only highway if its the best way to get there. Ride mostly in the 2000 to 3500 range. Ride more by sound of engine rather than tach but cruse at about 2500, 3000 on the highway which is 80mph. Up shift at about 3000 give or take, down shift if I drop to 2000 or below, only hit 5000 or above if I am on the on ramp to the highway or racing someone.
First choices are Red shift 525 or TTS100. Guy by me has 525 in a SGS with stock 103ci and is pulling wheelies and scrapping tail pipes. I live by Doc's Performance and he swears by the TTS 100 but wants me to change to a TTS Tuner. I just can't find hardly any information on either of these cams in a 96ci on the internet. Most info are for a 103ci. So if you have experience with either of those cams in a 96ci please help me with information.
Close seconds would be Andrews 26h, Woods TW222, S&S 583 which all have somewhat more info on the net.
I have done hours of research and these are my choices just hoping to get more info on the first two. Not doing a big bore kit, not porting the heads, not changing pipes. Really don't want to buy another tuner other than maybe for the CVO. Cams are all I can afford right now, but willing to spend a little more for the best cams rather than saving a few buck for cheeper cams.
