Screemin Eagle Heavy Breather

Anyone installed the Heavy Breather on their bike yet???  Mrs T (Santa) left one under the tree. She thought it would look cool. God love her. Installed it and had my tuner play with it on the dyno. He did a baseline run before he started playing with the motor.  Results:

Dyno from 2005   w/  S&S 570s  .030 cometic head gasket  3:36 primary Stage1 w/  stock headpipes V&H Ovals   Race tuner installed...HP 93.1 Torque 105.9  A F pretty flat at all rpms

Baseline Dyno    same set up replaced with Heavy Breather Hp 86.67  Torque100.54   A F Showed WAY lean across most of the rpm range.


After porting heads and bumping compression Installed Supertrapp 2-1 Supermegs  Left Heavy Breather on

Final Dyno run after complete Race Tuner remap   HP 107.15  Torque 115.7

Conclusion... might not want to install Heavy Breather without a little adjustment to tuning. More air in needs more fuel.

BTY This all started when I decided to install Compression releases.  Ended up street porting heads, decking to 88.5  compression 10.09-1     193#CCP

Some day I will get this picture post thing figgured out and will post dyno results

Man don't I wish I knew. Weather In KC stinks right now. Still recovering from sleet from last weeks storm. Bike is still at dealer. Found a cracked Exhaust mount  Dealer ordered one but won't be in  until next week. More snow coming Sat PM.  Calling for 5+ inches. Doesn't matter anyway Leaving town for about 2 months.Work thing.
 
Will let you know around the end of March. The only good thing about this Is the bike will be stored at the dealer  w/  Battery Tender plugged in and covered for the rest of the winter. One less thing to worry about I guess.

MPGs---we dont need no stinkin MPGs... IT L just take less time to get there [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

If memory serves those things aren't supposed to fit with lowers installed.  Your docs say if that is true or not?

Yup  right on that one. Won't fit With lowers. Bad For Dressers Good for the rest. It took me awhile to visualize. Look good on SERK, not look good on SERK,  Turns out-- look REAL good on Serk.

The only thing I don't know about yet is how it will do in the rain. Ran the old air cleaner exposed (without football cover) since day one. Never had an issue. Think it would not be a problem untill it is raining so hard that it would become a safety issue. Time will tell

The rain sock is a good idea around here anyway.  Might make a good prefilter as well.
