Good evening to all

I have narrowed down my options on my 08 SERK motor upgrade. I am doing heads, cams and beefing up the bottom end. However, I am not finding much real world information on TB options with my scooter's new electronic throttle control system. My bike has the stock 50mm TB.

I have contacted HPI but they have nothing that will work with the new electronic system. Best guess on something coming out is a couple of months...maybe.

Harley offers the SE Pro High Flow 58mm EFI TB and Pro Air Cleaner and Breather Kit (p/n 27713-08 $399.95 & 29515-08 $149.95) for the 08's. The catalog indicates motors making over 100 hp at the rear wheel need the SE Pro High Flow Injector kit (p/n 27796/08 $139.95) Since this build is conservatively projected to make 115 / 120 tq and slightly less hp, I will need these also.  I am getting a 20% discount so the total is around $552.00.

What tq/hp gains can I reasonable expect if I install the 58mm TB set up?
Is this cost effective?
Can current 50mm TB be polished / bored? If so, would this be the better option?
Does anyone have the 58mm installed? Dynoed? Actual results?
Does anyone have any insider info on after market TBs about to be announce for this system?

Thanks to any and all for responses.

I have an 08 with cams and exhaust and Brad at freedom said that the bigger throttle body would be a waste of money so I didn't change it.  Bike runs great and gets 108hp and 115tq,  would it have got more with the 58mm throttle body guess I'll never know.

Spoke with Wes today. He said HPI is working on something but again when ??????  If I use him for my build, the 58mm will be shipped to him with the heads.
