2014 CVO Water Pumper Stage II dyno!
« on: November 05, 2013, 05:46:15 PM »

Just finished up a 2014 water cooled CVO limited for a good friend and customer out of Las Vegas. Gus brings me the bike with 4 miles on it. I said what, you only rode it 4 miles?
He says "I have never ridden it, that's what was on it when they loaded it in my trailer this morning. Now make it haul ass"! OK Gus.

Parts list
Fullsac DX Pipe
2.25 CVO power cores
Andrews 54 cams
TTS Mastertune2

22 HP gain and 18 TQ. Typical before and after gains for a stage II 110, DX Andrews 54 build. Contrary to any speculation, the water cooled CVO has 255 cams in it like all the others.

Special thanks to Gus Reifenrath out of Las Vegas for riding with a Full Sac for the third time!

Great results Steve.   :2vrolijk_21:

What happened to the water pumper you showed yourself on when they were released.  Inquiring minds need to know... :huepfenlol2:

Just a basic stage I Sportpipe so far. Makes 88 HP and 106 TQ. Not bad for a 103. I have to build fuel maps for all the stage I stuff before she gets cams and a 54 TB.  :bananarock:

Those are some impressive numbers for a 103 with just a header.

Cant wait till you get some profiles for cams and.............

Thinking of adding to the stable.  Just not sure if I want to go water or air.

Water is the future for increased performance. More compression, less detonation. No brainer.  :2vrolijk_21:

My buddy just ordered a Limited with a 103, and I am urging him to use Fullsac for his new bike. So I'm anxiously waiting to see what you come up with by Feb.

What 54mm TB are you considering if I might ask?

Thanks,
Dave

I have a 54 mm HPI modded stocker that's been laying around for a while. I thinking of going 107 with 10.5 compression. We will see if the radiators
can keep the detonation at bay this time around.

I only asked because I have an 11 Ultra with a 120" motor I built myself and am still using the stock TB with the 5.3 injectors. Not sure if I can justify the cost of the larger TB over what I have now. Have 11,000 miles on it using your "B" head pipe and HD supertrapp look alike muffs.

Thanks for your answer.

Unless your doing your own tuning, the Dyno time would cost as much as the TB. On a 120, you would see decent gains, 5 HP plus on the top.
A larger TB is not like swapping a pair of mufflers, you will need a complete remap to optimize it.
