Been working with the dealer here in Orlando.  Looks like Renee is coming home next Thursday!  Dealer did me fairly well, bike price $37,400.  So excited!!!  Just had to spread the word!

ok let me just say, holy $#!t!  the improvements that have been made since my last Harley (2004 FLSTC) are nothing short of amazing! the handling and ridability are nothing short of astounding, the braking is soooo much better,  throttle response is much improved, and comfort?  sheesh.  la-z-boy on wheels if there ever was one!  definitely doesn't handle like a 900lb bike (my softtail did).  the balance is much better, cornering is stable as all get out, all and all i am very impressed!  i'm having the same issue as everyone else (mostly) with the speed-sensitive volume, but other than that, man!  this is my first bike with cruise control, and i forgot i had it for the first 20 min of the ride home on the highway.  oh what i've been missing!

jrod...enjoy your new ride because it IS a new ride...mucho changes!! I bought one earlier this year and traded a 2013 SE Ultra in and let me tell you the difference between the two bike is unbelievable!! Enjoy and make sure your dealer does your radio upgrade to 1.19.1 and installs the new saddle bag clips if needed. Ride on!!

Gonna do the radio upgrade right now, actually. Also going to order the screw kit for the bags. Just seems like a safer option. Thanks!

Congrats on the new ride!!!! Looks good. I know you will be happy. I have 14K on mine now. My AVC worked on my bike till the other day. The dealer did the reflash and it quit working after that!!!! Oh well. There will be a few things you are going to want to change but all in all they are a nice ride!!!!

Be Safe

Glad you are happy. I was impressed at how nice the bike handles in the corners, for such a heavy pig.

Congrats Jrod.  Saw one in person in Charleston a few months back and it's a beautiful motorcycle inside under the fluorescent lights as well as sitting in the sunshine.  It's funny how a 850-950lb motorcycle can handle that well.  Rode a 2015 SERG this past Friday and was very impressed and surprised how well it rode/handled coming from a bat for all these many years.  For all we poo-pood the Rushmore items (me included) they do make it a better all around motorcycle...bat or shark.

Enjoy that new SEEG, brother.... ;D

I am enjoying her, every single day, rain or shine.  I'm sure that many of us are this way, but "garage queen" is not in my vocabulary.  she's my daily driver, rain or shine.  handles great in the rain too, by the way!

Thank you sir!  I have to say though, that if the limited came in the colors of your bike, i may have gotten that color instead.  love that cobalt blue!

i did the radio update myself, and it fixed the speed sensitive volume issue.  also got my brukus saddle bag screw kit in the mail yesterday, that will be going on over the weekend.

keep the shiny side up!

Beautiful ride, Jrod_141!   :2vrolijk_21:   I know because I often ride next to one.  The Teal stripe perfectly accents the black & gray.

My brukus saddle bag bolt kit came on thursday (those bags are way to pretty to let skid across the highway).  As i'm walking through the lobby at the office on friday, i see on the tv a large HD logo (on the news channel) with the caption saying "Harley Davidson recalling due to saddle bag latch malfunctions", lol.  glad i got the brukus kit...
