The rumor is true.... didn't make it to 8 years but after 7 years and 7 months I finally got a new battery.

Local dealer was having an event/sale today and you could pick an umbrella out of a cup with discounts of 10%, 15%, or 20% off... must have had my lucky rabbit foot with me today I picked a 20% off umbrella and got an OEM battery for $136.76.
