Rocker Supports
« on: July 28, 2019, 04:15:15 PM »

Are forged rocker supports needed with a .575" lift cam in a 110"? I say no, friend says yes.

in my 13 I ran a tman 625 with stock rockers/ supports with no issues, I think you should be good... my 2 cents. and the 255 cam is at .555 lift  :nixweiss:

No.  Stock rocker supports are not known for major failures even with much more radical cams than what you're talking about.  While you have things torn down you might want to install "rocker lockers" or something similar to keep the rocker arm shafts from adding to the valve train noise, but you don't need forged supports.

"might want to install "rocker lockers" or something similar to keep the rocker arm shafts from adding to the valve train noise,"

Excellent advice, thank you.
