John,

Normally on a 2 into 1 we remove the muffler on a EFI bike and tune each cylinder with the Race tuner since we can do timing and Volumetric efficiency on each cylinder.   With the power commander you can only do overall timing and not per cylinder.  With the muffler off we can than accurately set each one.

What I have seen on the carb'd bikes is a tuning the worse of the 2 cylinders to get a happy medium between them.  Basically it becomes a compromise and is dealt with from a respect of weakest link.   I would look at the sniffer on each cylinder and make a run with them and then after you have a run that gives you a baseline.   From there tune accordingly there may be some give an take that you have to accept.

;D [smiley=banana.gif]  Just got off the dyno with 143.2HP.  Still need to find what's holding it back.  The goal is still 150-155HP.   [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=nervous.gif]

Gotta do it.  It's like a biological imperative (like peeing):

[smiley=banana.gif]  We finally hit the goal!!!  I am so excited.  To get 150 out of a Twin Cam "B" motor is quite an accomplishment and Paul @ Riverside Cycle in Bristol, CT deserves all the credit!!!  The amazing thing is I can still ride the bike as usual (I just need better gas!).  [smiley=jalapeno.gif]

I am posting the dyno sheet to dispell any doubting Thomases.  The fuel curve is still out of whack which, when corrected, will help the mid-range torque a bit.  This dyno sheet shows the SAE correction while the STD came out to 153.6-HP/138.5-TQ.

Thanks again Paul!!!  You're the best!!!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

As a "B" engine rider, I'am proud of you for getting that goal!
