Wow what a change!!!
« on: September 08, 2010, 12:10:16 AM »

Ok, after many threads and reading on this forum decided to switch products!

OLD 1. HD SYN 3 for oil              NEW  1. Amsoil 20w-50 syn
       2. HD SYN 3 for tranny                 2. BelRay for the Tranny
       3. HD SYN 3 for primary               3. Amsoil for primary
       4. HD Plugs                                4. NGK Iridium

Big difference!!! The plugs and the Tranny fluid were the two biggest I noticed!!!

No offense but with a name like jrmediatv you seem to be a salesman!!!

I did have the same experience with switching to Amsoil in all 3 holes but never tried the sparkplugs.

What is the part number for the iridium plug? I tried to look it up on NGK's website and it only lists a part number for the regular plug.

I like "Fresh" plugs, dont care if they are even polished with glare.

New always feels better for about 5k miles or so...

I found the new plugs made so much difference I wanted more gain.  So drilled a couple extra holes in each cylinder and tapped the holes for two more spark plugs.  Bike starts so much better now I don't even have to use the key.  Just look at it and say "go girl!" and it's running.

Did you polish them with glare first?  Then blow dry them with nitrogen?  :P
