Skunk and New Freedom Shield
« on: January 11, 2013, 10:05:47 PM »

Got about 150 miles on my new Freedom Shield 12". A whole bunch better wind wise for me than the OEM Splitter. I also think it looks pretty damn good.

Very nice :2vrolijk_21:  I didn't know Freedom Shields had windshields for RGs.

That's a tall windshield.  Do you have to look through it or over it?

Great bike.  Ride safe

I look over it about two inches. I'm 6'1". They have the RG shields and John over there will get you sized up with what you need.

Here is how I measured it. 10 from the bottom or 6 from the top.

Is that the light or dark smoke version?

Have same on my bike as well. Fit and finish are superb. Thicker than any other one I've had also. Got wrong size when I ordered, but John at Freedom Shield was great. Very happy with mine. So happy, I put one on my SG as well.

Hard to beat the Freedom shield.  I had one on my Street Glide and will be ordering one for the Road Glide.  For some reason the wind splitter produces a lot of buffering especially around 65 mph.

        Roly,
If you don't mind me asking what did you spring for the windshield.
                Thanks Jonnierock
