oil breather catch can ideas
« on: July 14, 2019, 03:36:38 PM »

Alright I'll pic some brains. I'm exhausting my breathers through a line down along the frame.I'm looking for ideas for a catch can to connect the line to. I've seen what J&P Cycles but looking for something than I can attach a 1/4" line to. Not looking to put the breather filter style in line as I want to eliminate any blow by on my frame.

Thank & Ride Safe!

I’ll assume you’re working on a FLH?
Late model?
I’ll have to get some pics what I ended up with my S&S motor
Short story is I merged the two head breather hoses to my 2 part catch can mounted just behind the primary case. I took off the little breather filter and ran a hard plastic hose up and followed the rear fender line right to the rear bumper. Hose ends there and no drips.
There is a drain on the can that I empty after every ride.
Works fine for me.

HOGMIKE,

I'm riding an 2011 CVO Ultra  & I've got 2 breather lines going into 1. I'm looking for the exact set up that you are running, Do have any pics & info on the catch can you are running?

Thanks!

Ends up at the fender tip, this was a “temporary” install that I’ve left for years.
