I have but never considered taking pictures at the time and sold the bike several years ago. I did it because previous owner had used alkaline alum cleaner and ruined the silver finish on the motor. I sprayed with a small Air Brush and equally small compressor and used normal automotive paint that I just matched to engine color with chips.
All the work is prep, degreasing, sanding, washing it, taping off the surrounding area, removing ALL bolts you can and taping the remainder with 3M Fineline etc. Tape work will either make it look like original or it will have overspray and ragged tape lines that will look so bad. Just alot of work but very satisfying when done.
I recently saw a SEEG that had been sprayed with Rattle Can High Temp Brake Caliper paint from Amazon and it looked very good but the guy had done his prep work. Per him total cost was less than a $100 and he had never sprayed before but did practice.
If you had to pay someone to do it with the motor in the bike, cost would be prohibitive, I probably had 48 hours total in one I did, someone professional would take less but even 40 hours would be couple thousand dollars just in Labor.

Congrats on the bike, sorry for such a late reply. Just thought you would want to know, Fallen Cycles on EBay just picked up a bike like yours (Ours). If you need anything, they just might have it. So how is it holding up? any wobble? I get some wobble after 65.

Mike the baffle that you bought is for bat wings. I had used that one and it worked great on my bat wings BUT when I installed one on my RG (exactly like yours) not so much. It's about the fairing and I believe that this one is what you're after. They seem to come standard on the Ultra RG's but not on the others.

No...I have those on my '20 RG Limited, but they do not fit on a CVO with the chopped eng guard. It was suggested that with some cutting and wire ties they will fit. That would be my next step if this one doesn't help.

This stuff works fantastic on black. I'm not so sure about the Silver or Granite but it's worth a shot!

Been trying out muffler combinations this year. Started out with 2.25” in both, ran 2” in both for some time, right now I have 1.75” in left side 2” in right side.  I’ve tried most other combinations too.

So, what are your results/opinions? This sounds interesting to me!

Ok, how do you get the plug out of the right lower leg for access to the axle I have tried a 6-32 screw as shown in the book, but it doesn't want to thread in, seems too big.
Appreciate any assistance.
