Title: New Propipe HS
Post by: nidan on May 25, 2007, 06:20:14 PM
Just replaced the SE II slip- ons with Vance and Hines Pro-pipe HS .

I thought the HS stood for Heat Shield , I think it really stands for Holy Sh*T

This cured the decel roughness I've had since I got the stage IV 95 built , much smoother through the whole rev range , MUCH quicker .  It also brings out the lope of the cam much better and has a wonderful deep sound . Their Dyno was down temporarily , but seat of the pants I'd saw she picked up 8-10hp . V&H claims up to a 17% gain , with half that it would put her at 108hp/111lbs ft .  Will probably dyno in 2 weeks .

I'd highly recommend the pipe.

That looks great. :2vrolijk_21: I had that same pipe on my Fatboy and loved it. Nothing like the sound and performance.

It's funny how just 1 mod makes you fall in love all over again!  She had really good pull before , but now she is suprisingly quicker , and very hard to stay off the throttle.
