If the gear ratio changes, as might have been the case with your belt drive mod (?), many things on later model  bikes won't work correctly.  There is no actual sensor for the gear indicator for instance, that is a calculated value that compares data from the trans speed sensor and from the engine speed data.  The same sort of issue can occur with the late model version of cruise control.

You may have to change the values for the primary ratio in the TTS, as mentioned in an earlier post by LC110.

Perfect, thank you. I did in fact change tire size in the rear. I went with a low profile 16" wheel/tire combo. It definitely changed the gear ratio...   ;)

Go into your TTS and under tuning constants and change primary ratio setting. (Example if you are at 1.353 change to 1.330) it may fix both those problems.

TTS MasterTune Technical Bulletin MT-TB2010-02

This problem can sometimes occur even when the correct gearing is selected.
This is because the late model 6-speeds use a helical gear for the VSS sensor pick-up.
The helical fear does not give as good a signal as the older straight -cut gear-resulting in missed pulses.
This is compensated for by adjusting the primary ratio downward a bit.
This adjustment will not affect the speedometer calibration.

To fix the problem, the primary gear ratio setting in Constants needs to be reduced slightly.
For example, if the setting is currently 1.353 change the setting to 1.330 and check if the problem is solved.
In some cases it may be necessary to reduce the setting a bit more.

I now have something to try....  :)

I'm not the expert, and you may want to send Steve Cole a pm for a much better answer, but if you changed the rear wheel and tire then you will most likely need to make changes to other settings, not just the ones in that post.  I imagine your speedometer is also inaccurate, along with the cruise and gear indicator problems.  Give Steve a shout.

Has anyone had this issue? Since I installed the TTS Mastertune in my 2013 CVORK, the cruise control will not set. It will turn on (amber indicator is lit) but it will not set (amber to green.) Perhaps this is a coincidence, but I thought I'd check here first.

Try checking for the bike throwing Codes, reset if necessary, see if that fixes it.

Thanks to all. Turned out that the switch was bad.

I reached out to Steve.

I found the primary ratio setting in the TTS. I don't know what to change it to though. I am off 5% on my speedometer (double checked it with the two different tire sizes).

What's the current setting, and is your speedo reading faster or slower than true speed?  Also, do you have a GPS to use for calibration of true speed?

I believe it's 1.353 and I am reading 5% faster than what I'm actually traveling.

Sorry, wasn't thinking clearly.  Would be better to do a Speedometer Calibration in MasterTune.  Don't have my laptop with TTS MasterTune software with me, but it's easy to do and close to this:  Open MT2, open Help, scroll down to, or type in, "speedometer calibration" and click "display."  Follow instructions shown in dialog box.  IIRC, increasing the number decreases the speed shown on speedo.

I have the Baker DD-7 and have cruise control working in 5, 6, and 7th gears by changing the speedo cal---big improvement over no cruise control at first.

Stock primary ratio is 1.353. My belt drive at 52/69 gives me 1.326

Thank you for your help. I adjusted the gear ratio and now the 6th gear light and cruise control both work. While in there I adjusted the tire size and the speedometer appears to be on also.
