One other question concerning the use of loctite. I know I should use them on the stud screws that go into the throttle body, the filter screws, and the cover screw, but should I use loctite on the "breather screw" that goes into the heads?

I would use liquid pipe thread sealant, not the tape stuff.  ;)

Use Blue loctite on all of the AC bolts.

From looking at the parts breakdown on the instruction sheet for the chrome backplate and looking at what I have it seems that I will need to get the following parts...

Plug Breather P/N 29557-05 (2)
"O" Ring P/N 29557-05 (2)

I'm thinking the stud air cleaner mounting (3) [P/N 29447-99A] are what I have now. Is this correct? There is also mention of a gasket (P/N 29583-01) also, but I'm going to be adding the Chrome EFI Cover along w/this and I noticed it had two gaskets already in it (sorry I don't have that parts list w/me at computer).

Couple of questions I have concerning this...

1. Along w/the questions about parts needed to make the chrome backplate work can anybody see anything else I will need?

2. What the heck backplate is that I have on the bike now, and will changing it to the chrome one with the different setup have any affect on the tune/map I have now? TIA

That is the version of the SEAC before the current version.  I had it on my 2004.  The hoses go to the chrome spacers that are hollow and attach to the head via breather bolts.  In you case, you need the whole new version of the kit minus the HD filter and then get the KN filter HD 0800.
I noticed yor existing filter had a gasket on the outboard side.  The 07 SERK has that to keep the air filter cover from hitting the two round chrome stand offs that attach to the head.  You may need to space out the air filter cover.  Just something to check.
