Rinehart Slip-On Mufflers
« on: May 21, 2007, 08:33:58 PM »

I just ordered a set of the Rinehart Slip-On Mufflers for my 2006 FLHTCUSE. I already have the Vance & Hines Dresser Duals with the Vance & Hines Slash Cut Slip-Ons. I've always liked the sound and the look of the Rinehart True Duals but I have heard/seen some horror stories with the head pipes not holding up with holes burnt in them. I'm looking forward to the arrival of the Rinehart Slip-On Mufflers. Has anyone had any experiences with them?

Only pipes I use are RH TD's. Never any issues except for the tips changing color.

I am very interested in what you find out. My wife's FLHX has Bassani true duals but I don't like the slip on mufflers that are on it.

I'll be sure to keep you informed because they should be here by the end of the week. I just took my ride to the dealership for the 5K service......

I have the V&H Dresser Dual and the V&H Ovals on my '06 CUSE.  I will be interested in how the Rinehart slip-ons compare to your V&H's.  What are you running for fuel management?  The SERT or a PowerCommander?  I'm using the PC.  If you are also using the PC what map are you running?

They installed a race download at the dealership after the Vance & Hines Dresser Duals were installed. I am considering a HD Race Tuner and a trip to the dyno when the Rinehart Slip-Ons arrive......

The Rinehart Slip-Ons are installed and they have a very deep tone. It's exactly what I was striving for and I'm extremely satisfied! The 5K service is done and it's time for a ride......
