Rush slip-ons=no remap?
« on: June 11, 2007, 06:58:51 AM »

Hi all,

Had 2 different dealers tell me that they put the Rush slip-ons their rental bikes without remapping or any other changes besides putting the slip-ons on the bike with no problems at all. They told me if I wanted a reasonably good sound and no remapping, these were the way to go, and that my Bike would run cooler.

I have only had 1 bike with slip-ons, and it had to be remapped. Has anyone tried this, and are they telling me the truth?

Thanks,
Mike

I got my hands on a pair of Rush Mufflers with 2in baffles, I ran them for a couple of days on my 110 Ultra, Vance and Hines had a configeration for them so I programmed it into my Fuelpak before I installed them, Sounded good and ran well putting around, but under a load they were ear splitting, Im keeping them in reserve, If you like loud they might serve you well, they are a straight thru design, I would not run them with out increasing fuel input.
