Howdy folks.

I have been riding since '81, and still have the Pan I started on and built myself.  I have a few other bikes, my daily being a 2013 Road King.

We were getting ready to go on a trip up north on our 2007 Street Glide with a Tour Pack, and were testing riding it as I had installed new shocks a few days prior.  We stopped at a dealer to pick up new gloves for my wife, and as we were walking in she was talking about how uncomfortable the Tour Pack was, and we should just use the sissy bar, etc.  As we walked through the door, there were some used bikes sitting there, including a 2014 CVO Limited in red, and we were joking about upgrading.  We were planning on a CVO purchase in the next year or so.  We went and got the gloves, and kept going out to look at the CVO and a Road Glide next to it. The price seemed right, and I had my wife sit on the bike.  That sealed the deal.  We left the Street Glide there and rode the CVO home.  Took it on a 1700 mile ride up through Oregon and western Nevada, and it was perfect.  Expensive pair of gloves!

Glad to have the bike and a forum to learn.  Enjoy the ride.

As you may already know there is a vast array of experience within our membership that stand ready to assist you in your riding pleasure, not to mention spend some of your hard earned coin.  Take it all in and enjoy!
