I have 80k on tires with ride on on 3 harleys.

They do help smooth ride

they do protect the rider, twice I have puled a nail out of a tire and once a bolt

I never knew they were there until i inspected the tires

I have not seen a tpms sensor that ride on could hurt in many many years

Unsealed tpms sensors are unreliable and need replaced anyway....
