Does anyone know if ABS can be retrofitted to an older bike?

Yes it can, you lift up the gas cap and slide an '08 in under it.....no wait....do the earlier gas caps fit the '08 bikes??  Hmm...not so sure on this now.  ;)

No, it won't work, they moved everything around to get that ABS controller in there.  ECM is on top of the battery now, under the left side cover is the ABS controls, brake lines everywhere.  Even that little storage area under the front of the seat is gone.
