One on the front and the back warped.  I was told it was unusual  for floating rotors to warp.  They were replaced under warranty

YES!!!

08 SERK, 3 sets of front rotors, every 10,000 miles almost to the mile. I don't feel no problems until within about 500 miles of the 10K mark, then I start feeling the warping. HD has replaced the rotors three time no questions asked.

Guys,

Th reason your Rotors may be warping is due to the fact that the Harley Floating Rotors are not in the true definition a Floating Rotor. Look at the Floating Rotors of brands such as Brembo, Russell etc and you will see the difference.

I had a problem with them appearing to warp on my last bike.  They were replaced twice as a warranty issue.  Turned out the the wheel hub wasn't true and that was the actual problem.  I looked into it further after the warranty ran out.

Had the same problem on the 97 Bad-Boy,hub was just a bit off and caused the warpage, be sure to at least make them aware of the problem if your coming up on warranty expiration, if your paying this can get pricey !!
