Looks like the fairing speakers are much larger!!  Maybe a 8 inch speaker,  also the 110 are liquid cooled.  These will be hot sellers.

My thoughts so far are some of the changes I like some I don't.  I have to give the MOCO credit they are making changes. Jury is still out on the results. I must ask is it just me or is there a European flare to the styling changes?  Especially the tour pak and lid covers on the saddle bags  :nixweiss:

More Japanese than European IMHO.

Don't like the new 2014 Limited...It's starting to look like a Goldwing. Vents in the fairing ECT...

Just came from the dealer and it is obvious MOCO has the beancounters in control this year.  They have cheapened the bikes in many ways.  Look at the saddlebag hardware: everything is plastic now, nothing metal except what is outside,  Look at the inner fairing:  It is now cheap plastic and very flimsy at that.  Look at the new bags and tourpack:  they have gone to a rounded design, like the switchback, obviously to cut production costs, they look like a Victory or RoyalStar bag now.  Look at the gas cap:  There is no lock now.  Look at the wheels:  Just like the Victory Cross Country.

The only way we can prevent MOCO from going cheap on the most expensive bike out there, is to BOYCOTT BUY THIS BULLchit!  Glad I bought a 2013 CVO Roadglide.  May have to retire with it.

Must agree myself.  Glad I bought my 13 Ultra CVO.  This just looks cheap to me with a 1500 higher price.  Not impressed at all.  Profit margain must mean more to the moco than happy customers.  Will I be the first to say it?  EPIC FAIL!!!!!  I just don't think they are going to sell well.

My 2010 CVO SG doesn't have a locking gas cap.  I actually like this better...I don't have to take my gloves off in order to fish the key out of my pocket to gas up.

I'm not a production guy, so help me out - how is making the lines in the saddlebags rounder make them cheaper to produce?

Switchback has rounded bags, so using rounded bags on Ultra saves money through reuse of parts?

My '08 Screamin' Nemo is looking better and better now that I've seen the new Steamin' Eagles. I will miss out, however, on the ability to put on a chrome mail slot and radiator covers and a steam whistle to replace the cow bell.

yeah, they had to make a new mold, instead of using the same old ones they had.  i don't see how the cost would be less.

the switchback bags are smaller than the standard 'old' bags, and the new bags are even larger.  so no reuse there.....

The linked braking only kicks in when applying the brakes and going above 20-25 mph.  System doesn't kick in during decel unless you're applying brakes at the same time and going fast enough to engage the system.

I think the audio system and brakes are pretty cool. I am hoping they will come out with the nav system to replace the Zumo 665 for a retro fit.
