I liked the look of the new ultra tour pak, but who's Idea was it to put the (only) turn signals in it. I would want to remove sometimes.

Bye, Bye 2007 CVO Ultra, here comes a new 14 Limited. I made the mistake of taking one of the new Limited twin cooled bikes for a test drive. For me; I was really amazed at the difference. much more comfortable, very responsive, everything felt tight and right......It just fit me!.... My dealer made me what I considered a fair offer for my 07 and a fair deal on the new 14. I am not going to discuss actual numbers, just that I was happy.

I know this was nuts, I really liked my 07. I just felt the 14 Limited provide enough upgrade to be worth the difference in cash. I went with the Blue custom paint option, should have by the end of the week.

For me, I could not justify the difference in money for the 14 CVO over the limited, again, that is me. Hope I can hang around the site, I have really enjoyed everyone's comments for the past 7 years.

Thanks, Scott

If I hadn't traded up to a '13 SEUC this year from an '07 I probably would be looking hard at the Limited non-CVO for the same reasons you stated. There is a big difference in the newer bikes over the '07 models, very different handling, braking, etc. Saw a black Limited last week, was very impressed. Really pleased with my '13 so far, just about have it like I want it so I'll be a spectator for a while on the new design. Let us know how it works out for ya!

Rode my new 2014 Ultra Limited Home yesterday. I am really amazed at the difference over my old 2007 CVO Ultra. I am so much more comfortable, handles better, brakes better, sound system is better....I will post a few more photos. I also love the little things like; battery tender plug in a nice convenient location. The hand controls work really well, power port in the tourpack, I also love the tourpack lights.

Side shot of my 2014 Limited. This is the factory "custom" paint option. It has more metallic than the two tone bikes along with graphics. To me, it looked closer to a CVO. They have three color levels. 1. Black, 2. Two-Tone and 3. Custom. The custom option cost something like $200 More than the two-tone option.

Shows the ventilation door in the lower. Easy to open or close while riding, I have never been a fan of lowers; this one really works well, good air-flow.. Again, my 2014 Limited

New Tourpack lights. I put on the turn signal so you could get an idea of how bright they are. My wife drove behind me in a car, she said the brake lights and turn signals really stand out. 2014 Limited.

The tool kit included with the 2014 Limited. It has a real nice tool bag as well. Much smaller and lighter than the tool bag included with my 2007 CVO.

These are the bags included with the 2014 Limited. Much nicer than those included with my 2007 CVO ultra. Not shown, they also included a headset for your helmet.

Tour Pack power outlet in the 2014 Limited. I have more but don't want to bore anyone to death. I really do like the bike, this morning I put the first 50 miles on the bike for proper brake-in, I am still amazed at the difference. The motor runs much cooler. Their is no question; the water cooled Limited runs cooler than my old 2007 CVO with the 110" motor. Cooler than my old motor ran with a dyno tune, pipes and air cleaner. Considering this bike is brand new, I can only imagine how cool it will run with some miles and synthetic oil.

I would have loved stepping up to the 2014 CVO, I just could not justify for the difference in money, for me. Without question, this bike is going to put me in the saddle more than I have been for years, their is nothing like riding a comfortable bike that does everything well.

BEAUTIFUL Limited, Scott! I really like the blue. I hope Chip doesn't see that I said that...  :o

I too just can't see $12K difference between your bike and the CVO Limited this year.  Frankly, I think your 103 will likely prove a more trouble-free engine than the 110 anyway.

If I were buying a Harley Touring bike this year, the Limited would be the one.  CONGRATS!
