Title: 2007 FXDSE shaking mirrors
Post by: drummer on April 26, 2009, 08:52:20 PM
Hi:
i know this thread had been posted before, but I have not found the answer I'm looking for.
Have any of you tried rubber washers inn the mount?
I think that is a cheap ($1.75) solution that worth to be tried.
I'll try it these week, if I have the time.

If you buy a mirror with a solid stem it will not shake.  If you call harley and hold for an hour they will give you an authorization number to get a new set.   I got the bullet Mirrors HD 91657-02.  They look good and stopped shaking.

Good Luck
Andrea

I complained to the dealer and they replaced mine with solid stem 2008 SE Dyna mirrors. Look great and no shaking. Dave :2vrolijk_21:

They should replace them since it is a safety issue. Not a good thing if you can't see what is behind you because they are shaking so bad. Tell your dealer to call the motor company and see what they say, they are aware of the problem. That's what my dealer did and they were replaced no questions asked. Good luck, 8)  Dave

Just call to customer service with Debbie, and gave me reference #.
I just wait about 5 minutes.
They were very nice with me
