"New SEUC"
« on: June 30, 2007, 10:07:46 PM »

Tbone (Bob) and I just got back from a 14 hour round trip today to pick up my "new" 06 Autumn Haze SEUC When we to the owners garage he had it in the inflatable Harley bubble which he included in the sale.  Tbone is going to put one of his 3 bikes in it!!! The Ultra still
had the dealers new tag on it....931 miles and it was delivered in May of 06.  And get this....the VIN no. was only 3 units from Bob's (his is older than mine!!!).  I would post pics but my camera man forgot his camera!!!! Will post later.  Bike looks great in the garage next to the Cherry....amazing how much bigger the Ultra looks.
Anyway the real test is tomorrow when Susan takes her first ride on it
She sat on it in the garage and loves the comfy seat compared to the seeg.  Life is good.

The bubble is a right crowd pleaser.  My mates always bringing his pals round to look at the bike in it's bubble.  He thinks it's hilarious :-X

GREAT news people.....Susan and I went for a 100 mile ride yesterday with Tbone and Ilene and she LOVED the SEUC!  :pepper: Actually it would be more accurate to say she loved the seat/backrest, although she thinks the bike is pretty too.  Huge upgrade vs the SEEG. :2vrolijk_21:
For her it makes all the difference in the world so I am hopeful of longer rides, especially next summer when she is retired from teaching.

I'll post pics and a new avatar asap.

Congrats FW,

Now, for the Hot Springs trip, you all need to dress up in identical outfits and "Siamese" for the trip. That would be a hoot to see.

Now, since Susan will probably swear off the SEEG, you can hot rod it so neither TBone nor myself can keep up with you.

Congrats again. :2vrolijk_21:

When we gonna ride?

Is there really that much more comfort in the Ultra vs. the SEEG?

If this is the case, maybe we really need to be looking for a more comfy ride for my hubby.  I am feeling bad for him lately and if indeed a cushier ride is to be found in the Ultra, maybe we need to look at trading up too.

Congrats on your new ride, sounds like a deal made in bubble heaven.

Candy,

I think there's a huge difference in ride between the SEEG and the SEUC.  It's hard to believe they're made on the same platform.  It has to be the suspension difference, I don't know what else it would be.

Bob is right.  He told me that before I bought the SEUC and it was hard for me to accept but after yesterday's ride I totally agree.  Riding one up I much prefer the SEEG though because of my mods and the fact that it's just more sporty looking----plus the color !! :cherry: :cherry:  However for long trips the Ultra is the bike I will use.....one up or two up.

One of the first pictures of flyingwillie and Susan on the new ride.  You can see Susan's pleasure with the new seat!  :2vrolijk_21:

You can tell Warren's pretty pleased himself.  :drink:
