If Germany does this company's like Harley will be forced to reduce noise levels to sell there. Hate admitting it folks, some of us have brought this on ourselves. Me included.

Noise reduction is very doable.  The world is changing no doubt.

Meanwhile, the folks who love to meddle with everything here in the USA are demanding electric cars and trucks be made louder so pedestrians can hear them coming.  :nixweiss:

so it will be interesting to see how many folks are not willing to ride a 78db bike and quit riding altogether.

I really don't like the idea of banning motorcycles from certain areas completely.  I have heartburn here in the states from communities that don't allow motorcycles.  though, admittedly, that has only been an issue once for me.  the wife and I were looking to make a road trip and found that where we were wanting to stay didn't allow bikes.  so, quick change of plans, different destination.  at least we found out during the planning stages and before we got there.

Was at Daytona Bike Week the other day and there was a group of bikers that every time they stopped for a red light would all rev their engines. Come on guys there is no call for that. These are the kind of things that cause us all problems. I am guilty of it a little too. I have straight pipes on my Heritage and every time I go under an over pass I throttle up. Oh it sounds soooooooo good. LOL
