Must have been a good tv show, is that a bag of tootsie rolls next to the phone?

"24", and yes, TR's, my wife's favorite snack. She'll let me have 2 or 3 before she absconds with the bag (that is if I saw it the first place)

Someone just got walked across (but wasn't too concerned about it).

Now THAT is one great looking pup!  Adorable!  Very pretty.  Thanks for sharing.

And someone else walked across that someone and was at least mildly disgusted that it had so little effect.

We're not cat people at all, but I assume that is Miss Lincoln, and she looks so beautiful.  She is definitely the exception to the rule for us.  Thanks for sharing.

Renea and I want to take a three picture walk down CVO Boxer memory lane with you tonight.  My sweet daughter scanned these three pictures of our senior CVO Boxer, Annie Bea when she was a little tyke, because they are her favorites of the many paper photos we have of her.  These are all circa late 1998 and 1999.

This first one was taken in November of 1998 about a week after Annie Bea came to live with us.  She was nine weeks old, and not much bigger than a loaf of bread.  Annie Bea has always been a cuddler.  This is how it starts.  Gotta spoil 'em from the git-go.  She has never in her life spent a night outside.  None of our Boxers ever have or ever will.  I still have that old sweatshirt around here somewhere..........well........actually Renea has taken up residence in it, since I see her wearing it on occasion.  It was one of my PT sweatshirts from when I went through Warrant Officer Candidate School back in late 1996.

Chunky Pup!

This next one is one of my favorites.  I can't pinpoint the timeframe, but it was likely first quarter 1999.  The beautiful brindle Goddess to my left is Miss Sassy.  Sassy was the first Boxer Renea and I had together.  She was almost three years old in this picture.  Sassy was a wonderful Little Girl..........runt of her litter.........never weighed more than 50 pounds, and always full of energy and into mischief.  Sadly, we lost her to cancer in March 2004 just 2 months shy of her eighth birthday.  As she aged, that black muzzle turned gray as did the rest of her mask.  Still miss her to this day.  Annie Bea was still very much a Baby, but getting sweeter by the day.

Yeah........OK..........no comments about my out of reg haircut, please........yes.......I really was in the Army at the time.  A whole lot thinner back then too.   ;D

Can't really pinpoint the timeframe on this one either, but it has been on the fridge door of every house in which we've lived since we took it.  Likely late 1999.  Annie Bea was, at this time, roughly a year old, a CD (Companion Dog-title awarded during obedience trails) and an agility competitor.  Such a pretty young lady.

I've enjoyed sharing this brief tidbit of our Boxer history with you.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thanks for the pics Henry, nothing like boxers :2vrolijk_21:

This is our friends parents across the fairway at the mountain house with their boxers and ours, our Annie with the grey muzzle on the left, Duffie a fiesty 3 year old in white, Harley our 3 year old male and Beudreaux their older male around 8.

Our friends parents are 92 years old and still getting around darn well.
