You all know that I recently had my hip replaced and my recovery has been going exceptionally well. During my first followup visit to my surgeon he noticed how well I was doing and mentioned that the hospital I had the surgery done was launching a joint replacement campaign and asked if I'd be interested. I was so happy to be walking pain free this was a "no-brainer" and I told him I would be happy to be a part of it. Well to make a long story short I did get involved in it and the campaign included a commercial, some print ads, and a promotion they are doing on there website. Website is located here - Martha Jefferson Hospital. I'm on the homepage and you can click from there to a link to read my story. BTW - Notice the sticker on my windshield.

The commercial started airing today locally and when I get a copy of it I'll try to figure a way to share it so you all can see. They actually have made it into two commercials with different endings.

Congrats d00d - one would be hard pressed to find a better image of "avid biker" for the general public than a clean cut, chrome obsessed, thong wearing, life saving, moderator from this website...with a great taste in color

I know it's going to be on ESPN, CNN, and some other major networks, but I think it's done in a way that it only shows in certain areas. I will be getting a copy of it and somehow make it available for members here to see.

LOL!! Thanks, a few months ago when dealing w/the pain and stiffness I felt like I was 100+, but now I do feel like a baby again.

Gary, this is fantastic. Great testimonial. I remember seeing the obvious pain on your face the couple of times we met over the past couple of years. It is going to be great to see you this year, with no pain peeking out the corner of your eyes. Love that you got your bike in the pics.
