$3 per gallon for unleaded premium in south Florida as of yesterday.
I hate it, but if you believe in free market economies and supply and demand, then gas will, and should, continue to rise until more folks can't afford it, or otherwise don't buy it, than can. Only then, when sales fall off, and gas stations are sitting with no customers, will there be any reason to lower prices.
We just got word that our homeowner's insurance will be cancelled--we've had no claims--this is getting harder to find in Florida than gasoline, but similarly increasing in price.
BUT... At least we don't live in New Orleans. That place, as it was, may be just a memory.
