Not only the headlight, but for those with spots you will also need to adjust those. As for the dealer adjusting the headlight aim, all I can say is "Yeah, right!". Take a look around your dealer's shop and see if you find a real headlight aiming target with a 25 foot clear and level area in front of it.
The headlight and spots should be aimed reasonably well from the factory. Final aim will depend on how you load the bike, so I've always assumed I would have to slightly adjust the lights when I buy a new bike. However, when one spot is pointed into the weeds on the side of the road, and the other down at the centerline of the highway, while the headlight shows off the nice new paint on the front fender, I assume both the MoCo and the dealer figured just having the bulbs actually light up was close enough.
