I just received my bars from Paul Yaffe. Took 11 weeks to get them. Can someone tell me exactly what I will need to complete this mod. How much longer do the cables need to be etc. I'm not going to do this myself just want to make sure I have everything I need.
Thx
Ken

Ken, Take a look here: 2009 SERG CUSTOM HANDLEBARS 1ST PICS. (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=70588.0) BostonboyDH had his dealer install what look to be 12" bars. Note reply #14 for what he needed.

Ken one thing to check they changed the adapter in the side trans for your hydraulic line your going to have to have a fitting made for the hydraulic clutch line to work I put 16" apes on my 13 road king that's how I found out they change the fitting for 2013 Drag sells the fitting

If you would of told Yaffe, they would've sent you the whole kit especially for your set up. Hopefully that doesn't mean another 11 week wait though!! LOL!!!

I had in hand, PYO 10's and 12's, and was talked out of installing them by many, especially by my
Mechanic.
I went with BukyBars.com Extremes 20X1.5's no problems in the internal wiring process, they don't have razor blades inside the bars like PYO's.
However, they were not a problem selling the PYO's.

I installed the 12" monkey bars on my 12 SERG and did not have to replace any cables and the wires were plenty long enough (no splicing) You may have to re-route your clutch cable a little to make it reach better.

That is great news. I ordered 12" Yaffe Bars for a buds bike along with the install kit. I'd rather not have to replace everything if not needed.

I just finished my 10" bars.....love them, worth every bit of the "PAIN IN THE ASS" install

When I ordered the Yaffee 14" Monkey bars, they said 4 to 5 weeks, 10 weeks latter I got them.
I really like them. I have put over 13K miles on them so far.
Pretty sure I will be ordering a set of the 14's in chrome for the CVO King as I like them so much on the CVO Glide

I wish i went with the 14" bars.

I've got a set of Yaffe 10" monkey bars that should be here on Friday. This should be a fun install and hoping that there are no issues or require any longer cables as others have advised for this size. First set of apes and looking to install them on my 2013 SERGC.

Has anyone had to change out the risers and riser clamp to fit the Yaffe OEM Monkey bars which have a 1" milled section to clamp to rather than 1 1/4" that came on the 2013 CVO Road Glide?
-
had to chenge them to run my WO outlaw-Z bars

Greatly appreciated! Recommendation for anyone who is going to change bars on a 2013 CVO, you will need these part numbers or purchase aftermarket 1" risers and clamp. It took me most of the day but found out that for 2013 Harley put 1 1/4" handlers, risers, and clamps on all their CVO models. So if you change out to an aftermarket bar, you either have to ensure it is 1 1/4" within the clamp area or purchase the smaller sized risers and clamp. I had spoke to a couple cycle shops who didn't even know this so I'm trying to pass along the word so others may learn from my experience and findings.

HD has done that with any 1 1/4" handlebar on a CVO
had same issue on my 02 SERK
