The sound has more HD rumble than stock, but not as loud as I thought. Had it out for an hour this eve and it does sing when loaded up. But, not what I would call attention getting. My bet is the cat upstream is acting like a muffler of sorts. Quiets things down. Power wise it feels stronger in the 3000-4500 range, but can't tell how much. It is not the kind of torque I am accustomed to, but we will get there.
The noise level is just right for me at this point, I like where it's at now. If the cat goes it's going to get louder.
Tuner is not on yet, it is on it's way. I am not to concerned about it at this point. I believe the O2 sensors will adjust as long as I keep it below 4000, and from the looks of the stock dyno, there's not much above that anywho.
I will install the heavy breather, SERT, and take it to a tuner. See what happens next, I don't look for anything significant until heads and cams are dealt with.
Short Block Charlie thinks we can get the numbers in the low 100s with some head work, bolt in cams, intake, and exhaust. He's chewing on the catalyst issue, wether or not it needs to go. Dunno bout that yet...
