Little did I know the wild and crazy route that simple search and link would lead me along as I sat here and signed onto the site. Along the way I have met many of you; only a few months after signing on I found myself on the way to Colorado to meet a group of people I had never seen. My wife thought me crazy but supported my desire to go and see many of the people I had been chatting with for the past four months. Secretly, I think she thought it would allow me to finally "get a life". When it comes to my posting she often suggests that "I get a life", followed by a snicker.

yea, I blew out the gate and was making enemies fast. I've slowed down my posts for a couple of reasons. 1) Some of these technical issues aren't my cup of tea. I just wanna ride it! 2) I've gotten really busy at work 3) I've opened my mouth (or fingers) a few times when I should have kept silent.
I've been reading more than posting lately. One of the main reasons fore joining this site is to have new friends to ride with. That is happening. GREAT people on this site.

Hey Howie - looks like I missed the big 5000th when Jan and me were away cruising through the delights of Spain. Not only that, but you have been a busy boy since then !
A nice piece for your 5000th post, it certainly echoes a lot of the sentiments that I feel about the Forum and fer sure I have learnt a hatful of stuff about CVO bikes (and others) while I have been here. Now that my bike is here a lot of the stuff that I have asked about and read about over the last few months is starting to happen and "bejesus" I can't wait to get her out on the road at the end of the week.
I'm really looking forward to next year and our proposed pick up ride, can't wait to see you and Binx again and to share some fine times (plus brewskis) while riding our bikes and having fun.

I missed this thread the other day when it was first noticed that I had gone over the 5k mark, so here is a belated thank you to everyone that has taken the time to congratulate me on so many key strokes. It's been a good 1.5 years. I then removed a couple the other day so I could do something special for #5,000.
I've really enjoyed chatting with everyone here but right now I just don't have a lot of extra time to spend playing with all my play friends here, so I won't be posting much in the near future.
Thank you everyone, you make hanging out here a whole lot of fun.
P.S. The 110 story should get a lot clearer in 2-3 weeks. :lipsrsealed2:

Whether it has been finding a new product for the bike to spend money on or planning a trip to the mountains, my time spent on CVOHarley.com has enriched my life. I am very fortunate to have friends like all of you.
