I have a 2610 and asked the agent when I bought it if a visor was available - he said no, the display is bright enough not to need it.

I have not yet used it on the bike in bright sunlight so I'm hoping he's right.

I guess you think it needs one?

I would think you could fabricate something from a thin sheet of black plastic card or similar?

Anyway if you DO find something, please let me know

Dave

I have an older model Garmin street pilot 3 and have the same problem with glare.  Anyone find a shield for this product?

Try these guys.  They have a huge selection of mounts and offer sun shade acessories.

Yep, looks like the same thing from both Touratech and Aerostich.

At that price, it's silly not to get one - just in case.

Thanks all

If you have the Garmin Street Pilot III the correct model is: Sunshade for StreetPilot
Part Number: 065-0401  at Touratech-USA.com    $14 plus shipping
I just ordered one.

It arrived Saturday. Iti fits well and uses a number of velcro circles you apply to the unit to attach.  Although it looks like it will be effective against glare on the screen will have to wait to use it before commenting further.
