Title: *** Back In The Saddle Again***
Post by: Mrs Red Hot on May 18, 2010, 12:29:42 PM
Hello everyone!! Just thought I would come back in here and give everyone a Big Hello from Northeast GA. Some of you may remember me from back around 2005 when I had my beautiful 2005 SE Fatboy. Then I went and sold it and purchased a 2008 Corvette Convertible. Well so far I still have the Corvette but I also now have a beautiful 2010 Street Glide in almost the same color as the Vette. Need to get a picture of the two side by side soon. Anyway I'm back on two wheels even though it isn't a CVO this time. Wanted to say hello to my friends here and let you know I'm back riding again. Just couldn't stand taking the back seat after riding solo for 12/13 years. It's GREAT to be back up front!! :)

Thanks everyone. Yes it is great to be back on two wheels again. I love riding with my husband, but it's a whole lot more fun for me when I'm on my own leading or following him. My husband has a 2008 SE Ultra Classic in the Frost White and Sliver, but me having this 2010 bike has him a bit jealous of the new changes. Now he's looking to maybe trade up to something new soon too. More than likely he will stay with the Screamin Eagle bikes though as that's all he's had since 2003 or so.

Yes Sandy, I remember you.......your husband and your bikes.  I also remember that you posted a lot more than he did.

Looks like he made the same mistake I did.  Terrie bought an 09 Street Glide and I made the mistake of riding it (the mods can be viewed here......just to give you some ideas.....  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=32927.0

You may remember I was on a blue and black SEEG and was totally happy with it.  That is until I rode Terrie's 09 SG.  New chassis, ABS brakes, etc. etc.  I said "I have to have one of these".  Shortly they came out with the new SE Street Glide and the rest is history.

Anyway, welcome back to the board......we missed you two! :2vrolijk_21:   Lookin forward to seeing the pic of your bike and your car together.

Red Hot, I my self had the 08 SEUC named Kasper because of the white and silver and my girlfriend got an 09 street glide. I loved the new suspension on the 09 so I just traded in Kasper for a 2010 SEUC Riptide Blue. What a HUGE differance the new frame makes!!

Hi Sandy!

I started riding in 2005 and remember reading about your road king and then your gorogeous fatboy on WWR! Glad to see you back on such a gorgeous bike. I'm riding a 2007 SG and loving it!!
