What is AVC?
Automatic Volume Control.  Volume goes down when you stop and up as you ride when it works right.

It does not function correctly on the 14 and new CVO limiteds, Street Glides and Road Glide Ultras.

From the reading I've down, it hasn't worked on very many of the non CVO bikes either.

This is really strange.....I have a 2014 CVO Limited, upgraded Infotainment system to 1.18.3, I have never had a problem with the AVC system, before or after upgrade.  The only problem I have is occasionally when I start the bike the volume control stops working until I restart the system.

Thanks, Mine worked when I got the bike...does not now. Maybe the new update will make it go again

Mine locks up sometimes too. Got to shut off bike, not just radio to reset.

I'm not very smart at this computer download stuff, BUT on the HD site it has DIFFERENT downloads for the various models of radios and BIKES.  The new 1.19.0 download is suppose to take care of these problems for the various radios and bikes.

What is AVC?
AVC stand for Automatic Volume Control. The volume of the radio increases automatically as your speed increases and decreases as you slow down or stop.

Well I loaded the 1.19.0 update & went for a ride today. Multiple stops and so far seems to be working as it should.
