If that's the case why start a thread about them??... just saying. :confused5:

Probably have seen passing lights (as many of us have)... but you starting a thread about a particular product and how well it worked for you, you'd think (as many of us would) a picture of this product installed on your bike would be a nice addition. :nixweiss:

I had to have just a little fun, Had to charge the digital camera,  Yes  I used the stock housing, The instructions are good, you have to drill a 3/8 hole in the back  inside corner of each housing  to pass the hid cables through, I mounted one ballast on top of the radio, next to my head light hid ballast, and the other passing light ballast i mounted under the radio,  All connectors  are water proof, and you also cut the gray /black wires by the speakers that go to the lights  that  supply the original  power source  and use the new shrink wrap connector  then your done except for tie wrapping and tucking wires  it worked out nice,  lights are 35 watts,  more pics  at the  Hemrick performance webb site

Nice photo and info, it would be interesting on how they compare with the different HID' out there (for passing lights).

As far as I know manufactures that make HID for passing lights are HD, Kuryakyn, Hemrick, Xtralights, and I believe another vendor that had larger spots.

I would be nice to see how they all compare.

That  would be a good and expensive comparason,  I always thought a HID is a HID as long as the color range is the same,  I may be wrong on that as there are different manufacturers

I would like to know, as I will be at Daytona Bike Week and looking to buy better lights for my 08SEUC

PS , Went to Bruce's HD today to buy a BrightAss tail light, paid list (199.95) but the Service writer put it on for no charge and would not take a cash tip  :2vrolijk_21:

Recently had the Hemrick HID lighting with passing lamps installed and all i can say is WOW. The shop i had do the job while other cosmetic odd's and end's were being done were blown away. They did an eyeball comparison between the Hemrick HID and HD LED and the Hemrick were much brighter. We have had good weather in Southern illinois (feb wise) so we got to try then out and everything was lit up nicely. Best part is have yet to be flashed by anyone. Just my 2 cent's....

The price is appealing (vs. H-D LED's) but it would be interesting to get more info between the LED's and HID's. I'm sittin on a fence here and just waiting to see which side I fall on.  This stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
