I have some deep scratches on the bottom rear edge of my left saddle bag in the diamond black along with some shallow scratches on the green latch. Other than those two spots the paint is fine. Where is a good place to take the bag for a quality repair? My understanding was that there were two shops in the US that actually painted HD's CVO's. I'd prefer taking it to them.

I believe a few have used Paint by Gene. Maybe they will chime in here and give a thumbs up or down.

I feel your pain. I have a few scratches on my saddle bag also..
Going to get the dealer to touch it up.

I laid it down in the grass and there were some rocks. Only damaged the bottom rear of the bag where the extension is. How much did HD quote you?

Paint by Gene is an excellent choice! He did a fantastic job matching the paint and repairing the damage on my 2012's tourpack when I put a gouge in the paint by the latches. Very reasonable price! All the dealers in the Northwest use him for all their paint jobs.
Here is his website and email address/phone number:

Fast when you get them back please let us know how well the paint was matched. I was unable to get a saddlebag lid matched for my Krypto here locally and had to purchase a new one.
Thanks,
