Title: 2008 softail springer vs 2012 convertible seat

Trying to find out if a 2012 convertible sundowner will fit a 2008 springer. A mustang seat I was looking at has the same model number for some there seats for both bikes but other places say no. Anyone here have an idea? I tried searching but cant find anything.

I would ask Mustang before I spent seat money.
